Think about your target market. Are you aiming for luxury home buyers, first-time homeowners, or commercial investors? For upscale listings, you may want to dress more formally, donning a sleek suit or elegant dress. However, for younger or more casual audiences, something business-casual may suffice.


2. Solid Colors Over Patterns

While that houndstooth jacket might look fabulous in person, patterns can be distracting and may cause a "moire" effect on video—a wavy appearance that's unpleasant to viewers. Stick to solid colors, especially in shades that flatter your complexion.


3. Avoid Bright Whites and Intense Blacks

Bright white can cause glare, and deep black can diminish the detail in your clothing on camera. Instead, opt for off-whites, creams, grays, or navy. These colors appear softer on camera and are less distracting.
